Mane crowned AFCON best player and Aboubakar and Mendy wins top awards

  The 2021 AFCON tournament came to an end on Sunday, 6th of February, 2022. With the two final list Egypt and Senegal having a goalless draw after the extra time lead to the penalty shootout. Senegal beating Egypt in the penalty shootout (4--2) being the champion of Africa for the next eighteen months.

 The tournament was hosted by Cameroon and Ivory coast will be the next host of the tournament.

 The Chelsea goal keeper and Senegal star, Mendy was crowned as the best Goal keeper of the tournament. Senegal and Chelsea are really proud of him. He was the winner of the FIFA best Goal keeper of 2021. Congratulations to him...

 Aboubakar of Cameroon was the top scorer of the tournament with eight goals in five games. He was awarded with the Golden boot.

 Sadio Mane of Liverpool and Senegal was the best player of the tournament. In his statement, he said" winning the AFCON trophy is my best award ever". He was seen consoling his club mate Mohammed Salah after his victory over Egypt.
