Peter Obi abroad, seeks a cut of $20bn diaspora funds to match rich Atiku, Tinubu

To match the spending power of rivals like Atiku and Tinubu, Peter is abroad not just to seek support but to raise funds for his presidential campaign.

Every year, about $20 billion is sent home by diaspora Nigerians and this is what Peter has gone to have a portion of.

Obi reportedly has no allies in government, unlike his opponents, and seeks both the financial and moral support of Nigerians to see his presidential dreams come true.
